Fashion Jewelry From Danielle Scutt

Fashion Jewelry From Danielle Scutt

British jewelry designer Danielle Scutt has just launched her newest fashion jewelry collaboration with Freedom at Topshop. It was put together quickly, as it only took four days from their initial meeting to the first samples being produced. These can be worn for the rock of goth look by choosing black, white or red colors.

With the economic climate in Britain still being difficult, the designer asserts that there are two luxury items for women that will flourish in such environments; lipstick and jewelry. So she has played with this concept in her latest collection, working with the themes of luxury, feminism and surrealism. She cites a wide range of influences on her work, from Prevost's Manon Lescaut to Ray Petri's "buffalo" style, and even the work of Frida Kahlo. The surrealist influence is obvious in her collection with tiny teapots and lipsticks adorning everything including shoe clips.
