Sweat Sensing Bracelets To Measure Consumer Behaviour

Sweat sensing bracelets are the latest indicators to sense consumer stress and behaviour while on a shopping spree. A study on 50 Black Friday shoppers has been able to monitor the thought process behind consumer behaviour. Most of the shoppers had a positive experience.
The bracelets have been developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab and are capable of measuring movement, temperature of the body, and changes in skin sweat levels that are not noticeable normally, signifying stress related excitement. These bracelets are the latest in research tools related to consumer behaviour.
Technology is now dominating market research for more reliable consumer reactions which was earlier dominated by surveys. Technology is now trying to trace shopper's instincts by tracing their brain activity, expressions on their face and perspiration levels by means of these bracelets.
